    7 Days late with a negative test..
    Good Morning,
    Really need some advice.
    I have a beautiful little boy and recently been having very similar pregnancy symptoms as I did with him.

    I am 7 days late on my period (I'm NEVER late).. I've had increased discharge (tmi, sorry), headaches, tiredness, increased peeing, lower back ache.. I get spells of sickness a few times a day, I heave but nothings there, only saliva.. lasts about 3 minutes then goes. Sore, dark, nipples with the pregnancy 'spots' on them.

    However, I done a test today with a negative outcome.
    A few months ago I miscarried early on. So unsure if that would have anything to do with it?

    My son's pregnancy test didn't come up as a positive until I was 4 weeks late. 4 pregnancy tests before that came back negative.

    I even FEEL pregnant! I am hoping someone can give me a clue as to what to do.
    Shall I wait a few weeks before doing another test?
    My doctors said do tests or go back in 2-3 weeks. Not helpful!

    I need some help as to what to do next and where to go from here.

    Your doctor is correct, whether you believe that was helpful information or not. Some women, for whatever reason, do not show positive on a pregnancy test this early. Every pregnancy is different, every labor and delivery is different.

    It would be best for you to wait another week, at least, to test. When you do retest remember to use first morning urine as it has the highest concentration of the pregnancy hormone called hCG.

    Yes, if this is one week late from the day your period was to start, then it is still during the period time frame, often it is at least one more week to do the test. If you have a history of not showing up, some women don't show up till the next period cycle. Not everyone's body is the same.

    So you can go in and try a blood test at the doctor, but sounds like he just wants you to wait. Which is what is best, you can try one every week for the next 2 to 4 week and see.

    Be use to always do it first thing in the morning with the first urine of the morning for the best results
