    About alimony
    I was with my boyfriend/kids dad for 14 yrs. We recently broke up, can I get alimony in the State of NY?

    If you have never been in civil union , then you will not be entitled to alimony.

    I do not see the word married anywhere, you may get alimony in the divorce

    "Palimony" wasn't even recognized in California in a well-known case in the '70s. So your chances are not good.
