I have no medical training so I am answering only from personal experience .I have had similar issues with 2-3 periods per month or constant bleeding for 48 days straight once {not fun} However in both instances it turned out to be cysts attached to my tubes and ovaries. The faster you can see a Doctor the better off you should be .They will in my experience, take a blood sample and do a general pelvic exam and possibly schedule you for an ultrasound. There are many things that can cause the symptoms you are having. I did need surgery both times but it all depends on many factors,in some cases they may just give you hormone therapy very short term and have you check back for another exam and they may just diminish in size until they no longer cause any problems or you may be scheduled for laproscopic surgery ,where they would remove the cysts. It is important you see a doctor. Most cysts are benign but they can be cancerous or grow larger and cause you a great deal of pain or infertility. If you do not have insurance most all cities provide basic gyn services for your first visit to determine the problem and then they may refer you or take some other action. Please do go see someone,I waited too long the second time I had the symptoms and the cysts had spread to my ovaries and 1 tube and I had to have them removed which left me unable to have children. So take care of yourself, and I hope it's nothing serious.
