    Hunter ceiling fan wiring
    I hooked up a hunter fan last night and everything works but we smell burning the wires are hooked up. Black/black white/white. Striped/red. Can someone help me

    Hopefully, your not using it, until you know what is causing the burning smell.

    Your fan should have came with a manual, but just in case you misplaced it, here is the number, directly to the company for technical support. It would be wise to call them directly, and let them help you trouble shoot the problem.
