    One faucet stutters or hammers
Kitchen faucet stutters badly when in the hot position. The sink was hooked up to older pipes when remodeled, but is the only one that does it. Ideas?

I'd look at the washer to the hot shutoff under the sink... could have a loose washer. Here, shut off the water supply to the house and then remove the guts to the hot shutoff... should be a loose washer that should be easy to swap out... ;)

The issue could be up in the sink faucet, too, but since cold water is NOT chattering I'd start at the hot shutoff under the sink.

Hi All, Been bz for a while, and vacationing. (the former a result of the latter:) Anyway, in my mixed-use building there is a sewage sump which handles the ground floor. Because of a dip in the ground level between the building and the town sewer, I have to pump the sewage to the second...
