    Increased Late Periods
My wife and I have been trying for a baby for 4 months, I know this is not that long, she was on the pill for aprroximately 16 months before we started to try and conceive, we thought she was pregnant at the start of January as she was 6 weeks before her last period, then she had it. It has now been close to 8 weeks since then but pregancy tests done at home are coming back negative.
We are going to the Doctor on Saturday but I was wondering if this is just the body re-adjusting after using the pill and if it is how long can the body take before a regular ovulation cycle?

It very well could be her body readjusting to her natural hormonal levels. I am happy to hear you are going to the doctor. Great thing to do. Make sure a blood test is taken. Also, did your wife take her HPTs in the morning? That is when it is best to do it.

But yes, her body could be re-adjusting and the length of time is different for every woman.
