Removal of abandoned property -- contact letter?
I need a format or a sample of a letter to write to someone who has abandoned property in Louisiana and have moved to Texas without letting the mortgage company know that they have left. This person needs to contact the mortgage company so that the person left to pay this bill can get credit for paying this bill. The person that is living there is paying the mortgage in order to have a place to live. And also they have left personal items inside the property that needs to be removed (what is the timeframe for this removal of said property to leave this address?

Left is not a word. It's left.

The person who took over payments can't get any credit for those payments.

The mortgage is in the name of the person who left.

You need to sit down with the mortgage company and see what they are willing to do.
