    If I am three days late on my period can I take a pregnancy test?
    Hello, I have a three month old son and my husband and I have not been using birthcontrol but we do use condoms sometimes. I'm really not ready to be a mom again so soon but my poeriod is three days late. I was wondering if its soon enough to take a pregnancy test at home. I'm dying to know so I can stop stressing. Someone please help me out

    The accuracy of a HPT decreases dramatically the closer to the date when your period should start. Under a week, the accuracy can be less than 40%. After 2 weeks the accuracy is over 95%.

    Since you're three days late, you could test. Follow the directions very carefully and use first morning urine.
