Drain noise sounds like water hammer
It started when toilets were flushed in either bath then progressed to hammering when tub or shower drained. Now does it with no water running. We have a single story home on a slab. Our heat is floor level radiator type. I have had to replace sprinkler heads that have roots from neighbors trees growing into them. Can air leaking in from root damage cause this?

Apparently this isn't water hammer since it's not occurring when I turn things off, but rather ON... Anytime I flush the toilet or turn on the shower, or any faucet, or the washing machine, it makes a vibrating/banging noise for a few seconds. This just started happening.
