3 years ago I was charged with fraud and possession of stolen property. It was at my work. I was more of less pressured by the lose prevention people to admit to all the guilt as they told me they wouldn't involve the police if I cooperated. So I cooperated and they called the police away (I was young at the time and this was my first time dealing with something like this). I paid back approximately 1400$ I supposedly fraud and returned the merchandise I had purchased at the store both things I did willingly. I went to court and when I arrived, they have no file on me. They asked me if I had come on the right day. I gave my court date paper the police officer gave me to the judge and she told me that yes I was suppose to be here. She asked both the crown and the legal aid I suppose he was if they had any file on me. They both said no they did not. She told me that the case was dismissed and she gave me a paper saying I had showed up to court that day in case anyone had thought I didn't show up in the future. That was that. It has been 3 years since the court date now. Is the matter over with? Can I expect anything further to carry on with this matter?

It sounds like the matter is over, They said the case had been dismissed, which means they dismissed it.

If it happens to be pending, what should I do? Go clear it up, show I went to court and they said it was dismissed? (I'm in Ontario canada btw)
