Do you have to take an interview when you apply for a visa to the UK from Pakistan
    Hello,

I want to ask will the Immigration Visa laws change this April 2007. I mean I will be getting married soon from Pakistan and would like to bring my wife over to the UK. Off course she needs a visa, but is it true that there will be a test/interview in English either for women and men in order to receive a visa for the UK. Is this true?
Hope to hear from you soon.

    Many Thanks

    Regards

    Yup that is true..
Most of the interviews are takeing place next year..
Once she gets here stay (once she arrives in the u.k and lives with you for 2years)
Then she will need a u.k interivew which will be in english.. and asked questions about the u.k and so on..

Yes, your wife will have to undergo an interview in order to obtain a Spousal Visa to the UK.

With effect from April 2008, all applicants applying for a visa to the UK will have to take part in an English test...

    Hope that helps..
