    Honda Accord Problems advice
    I have a 2.2i-dtec accord and you can start it and drive for a while and when you get out lock up and then nreturn later and try to start it just sounds like a dead battery this does,nt happen all the time but very annoying when wanting to use the car,any ideas??

    Remove and charge, or replace, the battery. Most auto parts stores will charge batteries for free. For safe measure, have the auto parts stores check your alternator for free.

    Going into dealer hopefully they can sort.the battery is sealed and it shows the black dot as indicstornot the green one.suppose it could be the battery Will let the mechanical people mind the answer

    Yea it showed @12.5 volts

    More important are the amps, which you'll only find out by placing the battery on a charger.
