So no one was involved but me. No cops were called. However it totalled the car. Now he is thinking about pressing charges, can he? And if so what charge would it be? This is in pa if that helps to come to a conclussion. Thanks for your time. RespectuAlly submitted Jason.

First he can not "press charges" to start with, he could report the accident to the police.
Since it was on private property, unless you were drunk I doubt there would be even a investigation, just a report taken.

Now he can sue you for damages of course, so did you pay for all the deductables. If he did not have full coverage, he can sue you for all of the damages to the truck. It is possible that your drivers license can be suspended if you do not pay for he damages.

When you use someone else's property you must return it in the same condition you received it, absent normal wear and tear. You totaled the car.

You will be required to make him whole, which means either paying the deductible so he can get his car fixed, or an insurance payout for his car, or paying the black book value of the car you totaled.
