My husband and I are split, he lef tme and our kids here in Minnesota and moved himself out to Reno, working on a new family. We bought a house together before we were married, in both of our names. The money we used to buy it was a gift from his mother to us. He is going to fight me for half of it, wanting me to buy out his half or sell the house and split the price it sold for. Since it was bought with money from his mother to the both of us, is he more likely to get half? Or since he up & left it, is he less likely to get half? Just wondering if this is a battle worth fighting in the divorce. Also wondering on what grounds would he get custody? He left me and the kids 7 months ago and hasn't seen the kids since last November about 2 weeks after he left. He has given me minimal money, and we live check to check. The kids I will fight for, just kind of curious. The house I am not sure is worth fighting for if he stands the chance to get it
