    Water pressure problems private well
I am having water pressure issues. I have a 60/40 pressure switch. The intitial pressure is good but drops dramatically after 5-7 minutes. My pressure switch is less than 6 months old my pressure tank is 12-13 years old. Can/should I adjust the cut-in or cut-out on the switch? Can the bladder in my tank be old and worn out?

Your pump's volume is low. Pressure is fine until you work through the tank's reserve, but then you have to depend strictly on what the pump can deliver which is, apparently, not enough. How long has this been a problem? Is your pump above ground or in the well?
