Goodman cple30-1 heat pump won't turn on
I came home the other day to find my a/c had shut off even though the thermostat was still set. Neither the outdoor unit or indoor one will turn on at all. Heat & A/C both provided by this machine but none of them will turn on. I've tried reseting circuit breakers, replacing filter, and checking the thermostat but still can't get it to turn on. The capacitor looks fine (a bit rusty, but not oily). It uses a luxpro PSDH121 model thermostat, and I'm quite sure that works. Anyone have any other ideas? I'd like to fix it myself if possible.

Goodman cpl t30-1a heat pump, heat not working/no compressor or fan operation [ 5 Answers ]

The thermostat is operating/clicks on when desired temperature is more that the actual, but no action at the compressor or fan. We even switch thermostats from other unit in house and both operate the other unit correctly.
