    John deereL118 losing power on hills
    My John Deere L118 is losing power and stopping on inclines.Have changed the plugs, went with a heavier oil and new filter,and cleaned the air filter.Still doing the same thing. When unit cools down,it will operate OK for 20-30 minutes and then do the same thing.

    Hi,
    Do you mean the engine is malfunctioning or the drive system(more common.)
