    Pregnant and worried
    Hi, I am losing brownish discharge. I am scared that I may be miscarrying, I am having no pain and I feel fine. I saw the babies heartbeat at 6 weeks which was 2 weeks ago. I miscarried last June and now am very nervous of it happening again. Has anyuone else had brown discharge?

    I read in my pregnant mag that it is normal to have a brown or pinkish discharge at around 8 weeks, and not to be alarmed. If it turns bright red, you should definitely see your doctor, but even if you are worried about the discharge you are experiencing, contact your doctor.

    Brown is usually old blood coming away from the cervix as it stretches, and is normally nothing to worry about. But it woyuldn't hur to see the doctor and get it checked out, to ease your mind. Red blood or pain is usually the danger signal.

    Yeah... you're fine. Brownish and even slightly pinkish are okay. If it gets bright red or just smells REALLY bad you will want to go to the hospital. But if you still don't feel right about it, just talk to your OB/GYN and they'll check to make sure everythings going smoothly...
