    What CAN I do?
My sons father was ordered in 2007 to put his name on the birth certifcate, still hasn't. Last year he was behind $2000 in child support and got a new car. This year he is behind $1800 and bought a new truck. He works out of state for three weeks at a time in which he does not see or call my son. He drops him off with his grandmother instead of keeping him for visitation. He always puts his girlfriend first. He refuses to sign his rights over. But that's because his mom/grandma have all control over him and want to take him for visitation.

Unless you are remarried and your new husband wants to adopt, there is not "signing his rights over" that is a myth and your attorney should have told you that.

Plus he has been declared the father by court, so do you really care if the birth certificate has or does not have the name, but if you do care that bad, take him back to court for failure to do this, for contempt of court. He can sign the paper work in court,

So how much total is he behind,? Or does he catch up at the end of the year.

But again, take him back to court and get a garnishment on his paycheck to pay you regular.
