What should I do if I don't feel safe at my mom's boyfriends house? He has anger issues and has sqeezed my wrists very tight but the marks were gone by the time I could tell anyone. My mom makes up excuses for him and tells me to shut up when I tell her I don't feel safe. My mom has diabetes and he doesn't handle her right when she's low... and he feels he has power over us kids... I just want to be out of here... but last time I left... I went to my dads and well he didn't give me any privacy... so really I have no where to go because if I stay with my grandma my mom will call the cops. I'm 16 and I know I only have 2 years left... but I'm the oldest of the kids and I had a hell of a past when I was a little child with my dad... im the only one who went through hell and I don't think I can last any longer... my younger sister who is 12 is taller then me and punches and kicks me and my mom does nothing... Please tell me what to do I need out of here and I need some where I can go

Laws are rarely perfect, and when the law says someone is innocent until proven guilty, the police or Social Services can't do anything if there is just fear of physical abuse. Even verbal threats aren't enough. Squeezing your wrists isn't enough (yes, they want to see bruises etc). Your best bet is to stay away from him! Go to another room, go outdoors, read or do homework in your room. Get a summer job and one in the fall too, after school, even babysitting (that's what I did at your age). Think of doing well in school as your ticket to freedom, maybe even a scholarship to college. I know that 2 years will feel like an eternity, but count the months and hold your tongue and plan your future after 18.
