    Penalty/charge first arrest on 3rd degree theft, fraulent use of credit card
    So I'm trying to get more details on how serious this is. Im in the military right now family member got drunk at a casino stole wallet out of some guys wallet. First time ever getting arrested no fine clean record. What is the penalty am I looking at or most my family member will get away with.

    Where is this at, is it a felony or a misdemeanor ?

    Are you charged ? And if yes, why if your family member stole it?

    If you were not charged, what is being in the military issue ?

    What country and if the US what state, since laws are different in each state, even the name of the charges are different.
