I've been on birth control since sometime in mid-March (around March 14, I'm guessing), and take LoEstrin 24 Fe. Because I'm on Accutane, I get a pregnancy test at my dermatologist every month, all of which have been negative thus far. The last pregnancy test was on May 14, and was negative.

Now, the thing is, because LoEstrin allows you to skip your period by moving onto the active pills in the next pack before the four placebo ones, I've skipped quite a few periods in a row. I'm actually unsure if I've had a period since March. Anyway, I was scheduled to have my period last week, from June 4-7. I didn't get it. Since my last pregnancy test (on May 14), I've had sex with my boyfriend ten separate times. I don't take my birth control at the same time every day, but always within 24 hours of when I'm supposed to.

I should be protected, I think, but I'm freaking out. I'm getting a pregnancy test, but if I'm not pregnant, why didn't I get my period? Would it have something to do with that I rescheduled the others? In order for LoEstrin to work, do I need to take it at the same time every day? Or is within 24 hours good? Please let me know.
