    Child Support/ Joint Custody question.
For two years now my ex and I have been split up and he has helped me financially a total of two times. I dot dare ask him for money because I know the answer. (it was like pulling teeth the first two times.) He takes our 5 year old every weekend as we agreed and that's it. I took him to court for child support, and to secure my rights to her, as well as his in case he tried to fight me on anything. There was a continuance since he hired a lawyer the day before the court date, and I didn't have one.. He refuses to pay anything, and in his own words said he wanted joint custody so he wouldn't have to pay. This was last year.
We have the new court date coming up, and he recently offered me 140 a week, and to split the cost of school supplies/clothes/ etc whenever needed. In return he wants joint physical, and to take her an extra day every other week. I'm not sure if I should just agree to this, or of this is him setting me up to further get out of paying a few months down the road since he will have her 50% as well. I'm not sure what to do, nor do I have a lawyer adds didn't qualify for free legal aid. Any advice?

Don't agree. Let the judge decide.

Child support and physical custody percentages are apples and oranges: the child support amount depends upon the amount of custody he has, but the custody shouldn't depend on child support. It's putting the cart before the horse.
