    80s/Early 90s Crazy Movie About Button-Collecting Kid Gangs
    I remember a fairly cheap, possibly British movie about some underprivileged kids who had rival gangs in their town. The twist was they all valued buttons (like shirt buttons or gold jacket buttons etc) and even seemed to use them in some kind of barter system. I've wondered for years what this movie was called, somebody help me out! :confused:

    Hello Joey,

    Could the film you are looking for be 'War of the Buttons'?

    It is set in Ireland and involves two gangs who cut the buttons and shoe laces, etc from their rivals

    The film was released in 1994.

    I do not think that this film is available on DVD but I am sure it is on video.
