No hot water pressure in shower
I just bought this house that has been idle for three years and I knew I would have some problems but, I have only came across two! The t&p valve on the water heater and the hot water in the shower. I thought by replacing the t&p valve would take care of both problems but, it only took care of the leak. The shower has two handles, not one for the temperature. The cold water handle has great pressure! Just hardly nothing from the hot side. By the way, it a Kohler faucet but it is a really old one. Any help would be gladly appreciated! Thanks!

All other faucets have good volume, right? If its just this one I'd shut off the main and opn the valve. Could be a cartrdige or a stem valve clogged with debris. Flush the water heater before reinstalling the valve gutts and flush the lines

Thanks! I will attempt that when I get home. Now, when you say open the valve, you're talking about the handle?

I believe he means for you to pull the stem out, flush the line and reassemble.

20t, it's a bit more than the handle. You do remove the handle but then unthread the valve which may be a cartrdige. Any chance of a picture of the faucet or a brand/model?
