Am I trying to hard to show my man I love him?
I'm a little worried about my man an I... He is very busy with work and it seems lately he is withdrawn... is it simply that he is busy or has he lost interest? I am trying so hard to be there for him and I think I try too hard. Is that possible, to try to hard? I rub him all the time, make him suppers, take care of the house and of his kids... tell him I love him all the time. Is it possible he's annoyed at this? I wish I knew. If I bring up the fact that I feel this way, he gets upset and says he's busy and has no time for drama. I wish I understood men.. l really think they are from another planet... Any response to help me through this would be appreciated!. I love this man so much and I hate feeling this way!!

He probably is very busy, but I fear for the relationship if it continues this way. Communication is key to any relationship, and if you can't openly communicate your issues and feelings to him without being withdrawn from and ignored I fear you are missing this element, because all you can to get a straight, truthful answer is to talk with him.

It's very possible you are overdoing the comments of love and loyalty. You see, men don't use pretty words or need to hear them like women do, but like to see action, someone doing things, to show love. You are definitely taking action and doing things--taking care of the house and children and cooking good meals. He notices that and for him, that is enough to show that you love him. For his part, his actions and his doing things--going to work and bring home a paycheck--show that he loves you too.

So lighten up and don't worry. He comes home to you and takes care of you by working. That means he loves you. Your work (not your words) shows him you love him.
