Hello. Last month my OBGYN decided that I was a good candidate for a popular form of birth control which is to be placed inside of the vagina. She forced the contraceptive inside of my uterus which caused me so much pain and discomfort that she decided to remove it a few minutes later. The removal was just as painful. Ever since that appointment, my orgasms are painful. It feels as though my clitoris is cramping whenever I orgasm(something that's never happened in 35 years). I work out hard 6 days a week, don't smoke, and drink only on rare occasion. I am in good health and I've been with my husband for 4 years. No STD's or or surgeries. Could it be that my doctor "tore" something when placing the contraceptive inside of me? Has this happened to anyone?
My husband and I use to enjoy sex twice a day and usually everyday, but now that this has been happening, we are not as active. I've been told to go back to my OBGYN but I am afraid that she will either deny that she has anything to do with my newfound pain in order to protect herself, or she will make things much worse. Help. :(

Go to your GP and explain the problem if you don't want to go back to your gyno. I am sure your GP can give you some insight, an examination and either fix or explain.
