What size wire and service panels do I need?
I want to run electrical service from my new home to my work shop aand then to my boat dock. In my shop I will have a 12" Dewalt saw, a small window AC, 6 120v outlets and over head lighting. Shop is 12x20. Distance from my power source is 200'. I then want to run power to my boat house. The boat house will have a 1hp 120v motor on a boat lift. I will have 3 120v outlets and over head lighting for the boat stall.

I am asking for what size service panels I need in the shop and boat house and what size and type of wire to use at each location.

    Good evening.

I really need you to back up. 200' is a fairly long run just to the workshop. What is the distance from the workshop to the boat house?

Look at the labels on the equipment so we can get some sense of the of the amperage needed at the at the shop. Also, at the boathouse, do you have a hoist? Do you need to power lights on a dock? Is the dock fixed in position or does it float?

That will at least get us started.

Shop is 80' from the house, (power source) Power saw is rated at 15A 120V, AC unit is 15A 120V, 6 120V outlets, Air compressor 7.5 amp 120 V, overhead fluorescent lighting.

Boat house: 120' from the shop, 200' fro the power source. Boat hoist is 1HP motor rated at 13.6 amps 120 V. 3 120 V outlets, overhead fluorescent lighting.

My plan is to run power to the shop then from the shop to the boat house.
