FICA---OPT to H1.. employer forgot to collect taxes
    Hi,

I need some clarifications on FICA deductions.

I converted to H1 on oct 2011 .My employer forgot to deduct FICA since then .
    They have realised it now.

So am I fully liable to repay the 7.5% taxes??

Are there any loopholes I could use?

    Thanks,

    AL
