    Is it a good idea to install wood flooring in the kitchen?
    I need your ideas or choices which is based from experiences if it is best to install wood flooring in the kitchen?

    I don't know what you mean by best.

    My kitchen has a hardwood floor. I have friends who have laminated floors in their kitchens and the floors showed traffic pattern wear, stains, pet foot marks, many problems in a very short period. Mine is hardwood and did not BUT I have it professionally treated about every 10 months.

    I like the look and I would put down hardwood again.

    It certainly (in my case) takes more care than vinyl (or whatever else is being used for kitchen floors) because you have to pick up spills very quickly, it's not the "never wax" idea - but I personally like it.
