How late is too late?
I was supposed to get my period 5 days ago. I have breast tenderness and cramping. I also just received what I believe to be a false negaive. My only option is to see a doctor but I wanted to know if its possible. We all know it. I'm pretty in tune with my body and I feel different.

There is a possibility you ovulated later than you normally do. A woman's ovulation can fluctuate where as the luteal phase (last half of your cycle) is generally consistent give or take a day or so. Unfortunately the symptoms your experiencing could be symptoms of an impending period or pregnancy. Wait another day or so and test again. Good luck
