    EtG Test Confuser Dr. Bill
    White Male 160 lbs

Drank the equivalent of one beer from 5:30-7:30pm on Monday evening. I Took an EtG Urine Analysis test at 4:15p.m. the next day approximately 20.5 Hours after the last consumption. Immediately after drinking the beer I consumed a large spaghetti and meatball dinner with a side salad. I also drank a liter of Arizona pomegranate iced tea with antioxidants. Then pounded some water and went for a two mile run.

Slept for roughly 6 hours and drank some more water and consumed a large banana peach and mixed berry smoothie with flax seeds. Then had a large bowl of leftovers around 2pm. Sat in the sun for about two hours and then took the test.

    Approximately voided 7 times?

Possibility of my test being negative based on 500ng?

Assuming one beer (8 oz, 5% abv) consumed across 2 hours you will probably be clear. You would have had only trace amounts of systemic EtOH. The spaghetti dinner increased liver metabolism by about 30-40% and the liquid intake also helped.

The time span is interesting (20.5 hr) because of information on Dr. Greg Skipper's Blog noting a clearance time of 20.6 hours. Most of the research has shown a clearance time of 18 hours or under (using 100 cutoff). (See Toxicology News*, p. 5)

Two key factors are in your favor 1) rate of consumption and 2) 500 cutoff. To a lesser extent but still important are food, liquid and frequent urination.

Nonetheless that time factor is too close to call. EtG testing and the existing knowledge base doesn't allow for precise timing. But what is there says you will be OK.

Please let me know the results.
