    Taxes claiming 2
My boyfriend claimed 2 on his taxes. He has no kids, just him. I am unsure of what claiming 2 will do to his refund / checks. We just want to make sure he won't OWE some huge ridiculous amount at the end of the year. HELP!

Actually, claiming TWO allowances will make it just about right when it comes to tax withholding. He MAY owe a little, but ANY refund is bad money management, because it is an interest-free loan to the government.

    He'll be fine.
