Toshiba laptop booting but not reachining main page
I am having Toshiba satellite C600 laptop which is 2 gb Ram and windows 7 loaded I am using for last 10 months.

One week before it started the problem that after booting (long time nearly 5-6 min) it will work for only 10
    Minutes
After it will freeze i.e. no folder will open no software will open. I could not shutdown the laptop also. Hence
Forced power off only. Re-starting the laptop the same was repeating.

    I used F8 key and
Tried to use "last good working configuration" and did rebooting no improvements the same was repeating.
Then I did windows recovery mode it took almost 1 hr but unable to boot even it could not reach the desktop page.
If I am starting with normal boot it will boot and ask user name and password and windows rotation will come for
10-20 minutes and black screen will come only arrow visible for 3-5 hrs also.

I tried to start with safe mode all corners safe mode was displaying and middle R7600 boot was showing after entering user name
And password it tooks 30 min to reach the front screen but no folder or filed is opening.

Briefly, at present laptop is booting and asking for user name and password and not reaching desktop page in between
Black screen coming only arrow cursor is visible.

Can I get solution for this

First of all, do you have an up-to-date firewall and anti-virus program? What program/s is it? Assuming you have these programs and the PC is NOT infected in any way:

    1. When you can get it working, open Event Viewer and in the left pane select Custom Views > Administrative events. Save the log as csv or xml. Open the saved logs and save them as .txt. Post it in this thread, be sure to remove any personal info such as user name.
    2. Open an elevated cmd (start, cmd, right click > run as administrator). Type in
    Sfc /scannow
And wait for it to finish. Take note of any repairs it attempts to perform. If it wants to repair something let it go ahead.
    3. Open an elevated cmd, type in
    Chkdsk C: /B
Press Y when prompted. Restart PC.
    4. Run disk defragmenter to defrag C Drive.

However, it could also be that your system is infected. If that is the case, the best way to do it is to do a complete recovery and reinstallation of Windows, either using recovery DVDs or the built-in recovery software. Before that, you might want to back up your files on the system first. I would suggest copying them to a USB thumb drive and then scan it using a fully updated anti-virus program on another PC.

Hope to hear from you soon.

Yeah this sounds like something similar that happened to me a few years back on a toshiba laptop with vista. I had to do a full system restore to fix the problem, even though I had a full, working version of Kaspersky.
