I'm 16, I still like my ex even though he broke up with me because of personal reasons. I could tell he still likes me but these past couple of months it feels like as if he's so distant. Our eyes usually meet though. I try making convos with him but I guess they're not working? I miss him. Are all my efforts going to waste?

If you have to ask yourself the question, "Should I get over him?", then yes you should. Go no contact, avoid talking to him, avoid finding out what he's up to. You'll feel much better.
