    Fan Auto On
    On the Thermostat should this for cooling A/C be pushed to the right or left. One Spouse says right, the other left. Which will give provide cooler air.

    Auto is where you would normally want it. When the air conditioner unit is running the fan will blow the cool air.

    On will run the fan continuously... even if the air conditioner unit is not running. In this case, the air will feel only slightly cool. In essence, it is just a fan blowing house air around. (not being cooled)

    Hope this resolves the conflict.
