I recently entered a relationship and have managed to fall in love with an amazing guy who I really care about. We're currently away from each other for the summer because we met at school and classes will not meet again until August. Everything is going great. He just came for a visit and met the family while he was here. The only thing is that I haven't had sex yet and I'm not ready to make that plunge. I figured that six months would be reasonable, but I want to wait until I'm married... I know that a lot of people don't, but a significant number of people have so I don't see what the difference is between me and I. Basically, the issue is that sex is a big deal to him and he's starting to feel a tad bit apprehensive about the situation. He says that he'd only want to do that with me and that he's willing to wait, yet when the topic come sup we never really get on the same page about it. I don't want to break up with him because I really love the guy... But at the same time and I don't want to waste his time or mine... any suggestions?

If he can't wait for you to be fully ready then he isn't the one, don't let a guy change what you want and beileve is right .
