Hi

I was pregnant 7 weeks apparently, started bleeding on the 9th May 2012. Went to see a Dr. on that day, and he said everything looks okay , but to come back in two weeks time. The bleeding got heavier so I went back on the 13th and on the sonar it showed that there was no baby in the uterus. Its now the 27th (18 days later) and I'm still bleeding is this normal?

Its not normal that you're still bleeding 18 days later. Is the bleeding heavy? Do you have associated pains with the bleeding? I think you definitely need to go see the doctor.

Thank you very much. The bleeding isn't heavy, but its noticeable, it a bit dark to brown.the pains I have are back pains, but I doubt are related to the bleeds. Thank you again. Was really worried and scared.

Back pains (specifically lower back pains) may be referred pain from the uterus. You don't need to be worried and scared, especially if your bleeding isn't heavy. But do see the doctor to make sure nothing else is going on apart from the miscarriage. Sorry about the miscarriage and I hope everything works out for you.
