    Yard-Man Riding Mower T604H pto lever will not stay engaged
    The PTO lever on my Yard Man riding mower (22 hp BS engine, 46"deck) will not stay engaged. It will engage the blades if I hold it in the engage position, but I have to use a bungee cord to keep it there. This problem has come on over time, not all of a sudden. I can not see any broken springs, cable, or obviously bent parts - however I am not sure what kept the lever in the engaged position to begin with. I am open to any ideas. Thanks

    Check the tensioner pulley. The spring may be sprung. Also you may need to go down 1/2" on your belt size. That's what I had to do also.
