Served a three day notice on the weekend

I was served with a three day notice yesterday. I was told its illegal to serve on the weekends. Also I paid my rent for June and July. But the notice states June, July and August. This is a new management and its seems to me that they are harassing the tenants to move out.
Give a 30 day notice then 4 days later served with a 3 day vacate notice

I was served with a 30 day notice for a termination of Lease on June 9th. By my landlord for late payments. Then on June 15th I was served with a notice to pay or vacate with in 3 days by my landlord. Can he do this? I am not even a month late on this months rent.
Do I still have to give 30 days notice after being served a 3-day notice?

My landlord served me with a 3-day notice which is titled "3-day notice to pay rent or lease terminates." I didn't pay the back rent in that time, so is the lease terminated?
