    How to baptize
I have an 8 month old and would like to baptise her. My husband and I do not go to church and we weren't sure if you had to be a part of a church in order to do this. We would like to baptise methodist, his family is methodist. Can you have your child baptised outside of the church like in your home? My father in law can do the ceremony, he is a bishop, but I wasn't sure if it can be done outside of a church. Or if it had to be done in a church what are the requirements? Thanks for your help

It would be best to ask the person that is willing to do the ceremony. Each priest, each bishop, minister even from the same denominations might follow different guidelines.

My advice is to ask your father in law.
