    How to change the cord on a 1935 Sunbeam mixer model 1
    We bought a 1935 sunbeam stand mixer model 1... how do you replace the cord... we have new cord but don't want to open the case incorrectly! HELP

    It's really very easy to do: You just remove the screws after laying motor on a clean surface. You also should have either white lithium grease or a food grade grease to repack the bearings and gears while you have it apart. The bearings are probably dry.
