    Menstrual Cycle
Experiencing long menstrual cycle after stopping family planning (injection). Is this normal or do I need to see a doctor?

    Hi Shynne,

It can take quite a number of months for some women to resume regular, or normal, menstrual cycles after they stop injections. However, since there can be other possible reasons for extended bleeding, it would be wise to see your doctor to make sure that there is not another cause.
