    Help mechanics lien on car
I had some work done on my car yet the mechanic add parts over 350. Worth. I never OK him to do this and besides that is now telling me there is a lot more wrong with my car now where there wasn't before. Now he has put a lien on my car. I have contacted the attorney generals office when he first put the parts on my car but without anything in writing either from him nor me can he do this to me? I live in NC if that helps.

That is the first issue, you needed a written estimate and contract for the repair, with out that, he is free to do what ever your "verbal" agreement was, if there is a misunderstanding of what that is, he will tell his story in court, and you will tell yours.
