What is the difference between carb and efi main relay in honda accord
    Someone please help!

I have an 86 Honda Accord that is carburated. It will turn over, but not crank. I noticed the fuel pump wasn't coming on. I replaced the main relay with a used one that came out of an 88 Accord that has EFI. When I turn the switch to II, the fuel pump comes on and stays on. The original one would go off after two seconds. I am wondering if there is a difference in the relays. I still can't get it to start, except when I retard the distributor. If I turn it down, it will start with the gas pedal to the floor. It putters, but it will run.

Will not turn over and will not crank is the same thing.
Sounds Like it Is Not Firing or Starting.
Those relays should be the same.
    Test it externally.
If you notice 3 terminals in a row, that is the relay contacts(SPST), the common is perpendicular to the other 2(NO and NC).
The 2 on each, side you could apply 12 volts to and see if continuity changes and any delay.
You need a 12 volt power available and a continuity tester of some sort.
    Any Codes?

Here is the relay, you can get a pulse with a resistor and cap as shown:
