    What is the Mississippi dmv law for no insurance?
    If I have to renew my insurance and haven't had a chance to do so yet how long do I have to do so until I get in trouble and what can they do to me?

    If you are stopped by the police and your insurance is expired by one day you will be ticketed. That will be a $1000 ticket and a year suspension, not worth it. Call your agent and renew over the phone before getting in your car. http://www.carinsurance.com/kb/content48611.aspx
