Ok I have been broken up from my ex for 3 yrs we have a 3 yr old son.so I moved on and just moved into a place with my girlfriend for six monthsnow. So my baby mamma left me alone for a little while then she comes out the blue now wanting to start verbal fights with me over the phone now. She says she moved on to but she still can't be friends with me or respect me either.now all we do is fight she uses my son against me but she can't keep him from me because we have joint custody.

So now she just moved in her apartment and she is saying since she moved further out now she doesn't have enough gas to pick our son up from my place like she been doing. Now she wants to change that to meet her half way or bring him to my house.

I try to say let's be friends because I'm done fighting and she says no I don't want to be friends with you. Can anybody tell me why she act the way she does to me?

I think she feels abandoned and bitter because you two have a son together, but you're no longer together. She got knocked up by you, then is left to take care of her child and his father isn't in the picture the way he should be (I'm not accusing you, I'm just looking at it through her point of view). I would honestly feel the same way. It's a confusing situation for everyone. She probably wants to move on and forget about you, but she can't because the two of you have a joint custody. Try talking to her to see if there's any way of loosening the tension, and maybe bring up the possibility of her having full custody of the child? I don't know your situation, so maybe that isn't possible, or isn't wanted. I hope you figure things out!
