As Salam Wa Alaikum,


I am Julfiur Rahman and I am from India.Since last few days, I have been finding one solutions of one queston. It is about Insurance policies in India.
I have already 3 Plocies (LIC-Life Insurance corporation of India).But recentli I came to know that Insurance is HARAAM in Islam.My policy is for 10 years duration say. I don't have any Idea what to do now.

Is all insurance working in India (ICICI, Relince Life. TATA AIG, SUN BIRLA etc) are HARAAM according to Shariyat?

Is there any way that we can open insurance and even not violating Shariyat?

Many people says that Insurance is about securing life or investing to get some profit. What is the accurate Logic behind this according to Islam?

If Insurance is not applicable, then where should we invest our money?


Please give a proper solution so that I can rise awareness among other Muslim fellows regarding this topic.

Dear Mr. Julfiur Rahman,
Assalamualaikum, I am Jameel Ahmed a IRDA licence holder aged about 26 years, and I have left that insurance job when I came to know that its haram, and I am writing in order to inform you that :
1, Insurance is Haram in islam, so its not applicable in islam.
2, A person who does not believes in allah takes insurance, as he believes in insurance coverages.
3, A insured indirectly says to allah that "I don’t trust in you as you may give any problems to me in future, so I am getting insured" (Naauzubillah, Astaghfirullah)
4, If you want to invest you can invest in gold, property, real estate, business etc..
5, There are 100% of demerits in insurance policies. And 0% of profit.
6, Only Motor vehicle Third Party Policies is applicable in islam as its mandatory in india. Except that 1 policy all Insurances are Haram.

So take care, we have to fulfill the commands of Allah and Muhammad (saw), we have to follow the rules and regulations of islam, then only we will live happily in this world and there after in qiyamath.

Note: for your clear understandings, go with tabligh jamath for at least 3 days, so that allah will make you understand about our precious and priceless religious islam.
