1) how did you make your beautiful Prism gif animated?

I registed primarily to ask you that question about your beautiful Avatar

but furthermore:

2) just moved into an Apt complex that has VERY ANNOYING Occupancy Sensor light switches

(you know... the kind that gives you night blindness when you want to use the bathroom during the middle of the night, etc etc etc )

In trying to figure out how to disable the motion sensor aspect to it

I discovered that each switch has outgoing GREEN, red, black, & white wires

the GREEN GROUND wire is NOT attached to the green ground outlet box wire that is in turn connected to what I presume to be the Apartment building GREEN ground wire??

3) Additionally, I just moved in and don't have my shipment yet with the device I use to test if the outlets are grounded for my Computer's sake

If this place is grounded it will be the first apartment I have lived in over 20 years that is!!

WHY? Don't people care about grounding not only for safety reasons

but also to protect Electronic Equipment??

do you remember when Hard Drives would mysteriously crash about 6 months after installing with the highest probability that the main damage occurred when installing the drive because the lazy computer tech didn't bother to operate in a "Grounded Environment"

??
these are some of my longstanding pet peeves that will likely never be resolved!

I found the GIF on the net,I did not create it, I can barely spell GIF, let alone create one.

If the sensors have a manual switch mode , you can use that to control it manually, otherwise these is no method to disable that function.

Be sure to contact management of the apartments to have any electrical work done.
