What do I do when the court doesn't make my ex conform to court orders?
My ex and I have joint legal custody with weekly visitation. Recently my ex moved across the country which makes visitation impossible. Now I have been notified that her current husband is trying to adopt my daughter without my consent. I pay child support through the state with payroll withholding, I call my daughter weekly and it is evident that parental alienation on the part of the mother is taking place.
There is currently another court date for her to answer for contempt charges but she never shows up. What is my next course of action?

Go to court and ask for a change in custody. Being across the country doesn't stop visitation it only puts limits on it. Get creative. Also since she is the one that moved then she should pay for the visitation to take place.
